Homegrown is back! It’s our monthly showcase of the best up-and-coming local talent, live and loud at Bombies. Headlining is Sonic Reducer, Canberra’s 21-year-old punk prodigies bringing their signature 2007-style sleaze punk with a dash of Iggy and a sprinkle of David Byrne.
Fresh off a sold-out 20-date European tour with Royel Otis, winners of Best Live Act and Artist of the Year at the 2024 MAMAs, and with airplay on Triple J, these guys (and gal!) know how to blow the roof off a room. Their new EP SQUEEZE (2025) is six tracks of punk genius, vulnerability, and honesty—no machismo shields here.
Supporting them is Ditzy Dog, bringing their own local flair to the stage.
